Seyoung Park
Performance Pianist
Seyoung Park is a South Korean-born pianist, educator, and collaborative artist recognized for her versatility across classical, contemporary, and interdisciplinary repertoire. She hasperformed widely throughout the United States, Europe, and Korea, with appearances at venues including the Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest, Barness Recital Hall at the University of South Florida, and the UMKC Conservatory.
A prizewinner in several national competitions in Korea, Seyoung made her orchestral debut at age thirteen performing Saint-Saëns’ Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Jeonju Symphony Orchestra. She has also appeared in major festivals such as the Amalfi Coast Music and Art Festival, Atlantic Music Festival, and Brancaleoni International Music Festival.
An active collaborative pianist, Seyoung has worked extensively with vocalists and instrumentalists in recital, opera, and contemporary music settings, including premieres of new works and cross-genre projects involving electronic music. She previously served as Adjunct Faculty and StaT Pianist at Benedictine College and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the UMKC Conservatory.
Seyoung holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance from the University of Missouri–Kansas City, along with degrees from the University of South Florida and Dongduk Women’s University. She is currently on faculty at Cascade Piano Studio and Seattle Piano Academy.
